Why is love so important?

Last update: January 11, 2016

Have you ever stopped to think why love is so important? In the course of our life we experience many other feelings, such as affection, emotion, fear or anger. And yet, love is the feeling that unites so many emotions that it becomes the vital feeling.

The truth is, if you think about it, most human emotions are incorporated into love. You may feel fear when you watch a horror movie, but you also feel fear when you feel that you are not loved or loved by a person. Love imbues all other emotions with its color, in one way or another.

Love should be the pillar of our lives from the day we are brought into the world to the day we greet it on our deathbed.

Love encompasses everything

We could say that love encompasses everything. It is a huge feeling, impossible to measure, which allows us to experience many different emotions until they turn them into a carousel in which everything is confused, and which gives the rhythm to our life.. We can say that love encompasses a large number of emotions, because it makes us feel the most diverse feelings:

  • Anger when we are unrequited or the person we love prefers someone else.
  • Affection towards a child or our partner, for example.
  • Frustration when the person we love doesn't understand us.
  • Solidarity, because we have established a truly deep and loving relationship of friendship

As you can see, love includes a large number of emotions, both positive and negative. For each of those that make us suffer, there is an opposite that allows us to experience a great intimate and personal pleasure. Think about it, and give yourself the chance to discover these emotions!

Love gives meaning to our life

Love gives meaning to our life, from the moment we come into the world. All children experience their emotions with great intensity, but none are comparable to love. In particular to the love of their mothers, who are the compass of their existence. Everything seems to have its beginning and its end in the people who educate them, protect them, nurture them, care for them, educate them and ultimately love them.

Little by little the children grow up and discover love for their neighbor. They begin to get to know their family, friends and companions. From that moment, they begin to weave personal relationships that will give meaning to their life, and which will form the basis of a harmonious and loving future.

Then come the great loves of youth. A feeling so strong and profound that it makes many young people feel that their life will have no meaning if they cannot share it with their loved one., and that it would be better to die than to live without that love.

Over the years, the loves stabilize. Friendship, couple and family relationships relax and become our travel companions in a chaotic and often meaningless world. However, the solidarity of the people we have at our side makes it all worthwhile.

We end our life with twilight loves. Everything becomes calmer in the shadow of the experiences we have lived and the wounds we have suffered over the years. Yet the intensity of feelings and emotions remains unaffected.

Love moves our life

It is therefore evident that it is love that moves people's lives. And turning away from it because of a bad experience is a terrible mistake, which could cost you dearly for many years and ruin your life.

Never turn your back on love. Allow it to flow into all corners of your body. Allow it to fill you with life. Allow it to make you vibrate, suffer, feel, enjoy… Let it flow, because it is the only emotion that gives meaning to our life.

Live every day as if it were the last and love with all your strength, because only in this way will you be able to be happy and make sense of everything around you.

Remember that there will always be someone who wants you, corresponds to you, waits for you ... A person who has the same need to love as you and who knows that until you arrive, they will not feel full, complete and fulfilled.
