Wholemeal apple pie with flax seeds

Do you want purify yourself after the Easter feast? To get back in shape and purify the body from the excesses of the past few days, without giving up the taste of a delicious and soft dessert, we offer you the recipe to make a vegan apple pie packaged wholemeal flour e flax seed, rich in Omega 3 and suitable for regenerating the body by trying it on the waste accumulated during the winter.


300 g of flour 2 (wholemeal)
3 tablespoons of flax seeds and 3 tablespoons of water
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 and a half glasses of water in your city, made with the grated rind of a lemon
150 g of raw cane sugar
2 large apples
1 pinch of cinnamon to taste
half a sachet of vanilla yeast


Turn on the oven to 180 degrees, then in a bowl, put the water with the lemon peels, the oil, the brown sugar and the batter that you will get by blending the flax seeds with the water in a blender. Mix everything with a whisk.

Gradually incorporate the wholemeal flour, stirring constantly, add the yeast and just before pouring the mixture into a silicone mold (or lined with baking paper) add the apple cut into strips.

Level the mixture with the back of a spoon, beat the pan on a sturdy surface to remove air bubbles and bake, lower the temperature to 160 and cook for about 45 minutes.
When cooked, take out of the oven, let it cool and serve!
