Spring fruit: strawberries

But what are the properties of this much-loved fruit of spring?
Diuretic, refreshing, purifying and rich in nutrients, they contain iron, phosphorus, calcium, vitamins A, B1, B2 and C. Strawberries are low in calories, rich in fiber and have a good satiating power, all these characteristics make them the ideal snack even for those who follow a low-calorie diet.
Finally, strawberries contain xylitol, a substance that helps prevent halitosis and the formation of dental plaque.
The only drawback: they are allergizzanti and therefore they are often contraindicated to certain categories, for example pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Spring fruit: apricots
When you are talking about spring fruit you cannot forget the apricots.
They are a concentrate of beneficial substances, thanks above all to the presence of lycopene e betacarotene, substances capable of hindering the process of formation of LDL cholesterol (the so-called bad one).
They have low calorific value and are rich in fiber. The apricots, finally, they are very rich in vitamin A and are one of the first types of fruit that are included in the child's diet during it weaning. In summary, they are suitable for everyone's well-being.
To benefit from this spring gift, you need to eat them fresh. When apricots are left to overripe, they lose most of their nutrients; it is therefore advisable to eat them when they are very firm.

Le cherries they arrive in our homes a little later than apricots, and above all compared to strawberries, they are in fact a type of fruit that can be tasted in late spring.
One cherry leads to another, the saying goes, and in fact cherries are an excellent refreshing and remineralizing snack that helps our body keep fit when the first cast arrives.
