There are people who come into your life and change everything, people for whom it is worth stopping, breathing and appreciating. Appreciate the really important things in life: the details ... like the sea water, the clouds, the looks, the eyes of these people, the way they smile, the infinite hugs that taste like salt, their hands, wake up to next to them ...

There are people who are made of steel, people who make sense of everything, even things that didn't matter to us before. They are authentic people, who mark a moment in our life, that arrive like a breath of fresh air and that, if they go away, leave an indelible mark in our memories.

The big difference between leaving a mark and leaving scars

There is a huge difference between leaving a mark and leaving scars. The scars symbolize pain, suffering, open wounds, emotions that need to be cleaned and healed. Scars are marks that we have not chosen to have and that remind us of a pain that we could have avoided.

Instead, when someone leaves their mark, it means that we have indelible traces on the skin and in the memory, that make us remember moments of love, teaching and growth.

Therefore, the quantity of people around us is not important, but the quality. If someone systematically hurts us, we should begin to clean up our surroundings, select people better, and strive to continue only relationships that bring us inner learning and growth.

People who embrace you and rebuild your interiority

"The way you give is worth much more than what you give"

Pierre Corneille

It's the small details that give meaning to life, they change everything, they make everyday life important. This is why it is not so important what we receive as it is how we receive it.

When a special person embraces you, he is able to reassemble the fragments present in you, he teaches you to live and relive your interiority. Special people don't wait for things to happen, they do what they want and pursue their goals until they reach them.

Leaving your mark is more than just passing through

Each person who passes through our life is unique.

He always leaves a little of himself and takes away a little of us.

There will be people who will take a lot, but very few will be those who will not leave anything.

This is proof that two souls never meet by chance.

Jorge Luis Borges

There are people who leave an indelible mark on our heart, because in a given moment we walked the same path together. And, even if they no longer accompany us, we will never be able to forget them.

They don't try to leave that mark, it appears without us realizing it. They are people who offer us another vision of the world, who help us to ask ourselves questions about our past, present and future.

People who leave their mark and people who mark us for life

“People believe that a soul mate is the person who completes you perfectly, something that everyone wants. But an authentic soul mate is a mirror, it is the person who brings out all that you have repressed, who makes you look inside yourself to make your life change. A true soulmate is, of course, the most important person we will know, because it breaks down all our walls of uncertainty and opens a door of hope. But is it possible to live with a soul mate forever? Absolutely not, you live too badly. A soul mate arrives to take off the veil you wear over your eyes and then leaves. "

Elizabeth Gilbert

A soul mate is a kind of life preserver. It comes by accident, or perhaps intentionally, and it changes you forever. She opens your eyes, shows you what hurts, what can hurt and the wonderful things in life.

However, with such a person by your side, it won't hurt that much. Because people who leave their mark don't leave scars, they don't come to hurt you "just for". And, even if they put your life in turmoil and disorient you, you will see that looking in the dictionary for the word "Destiny" you will find them.
