After having proposed to you how to make the milk slice at home, naturally using simple, good and homemade ingredients, here is a new recipe, this time in key vegan, to prepare another Frigo snack much appreciated by young and old: the heaven cake.

Ingredients for 7-8 people:

  • 2 soy yogurt in your city, made with vanilla
  • 150 g of 0 flour
  • 50 g of potato starch
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 60 ml of oil
  • the juice of 2 large lemons
  • the zest of a lemon
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 250 ml of vegetable cream
  • a bag of powdered sugar
  • Oil and flour for the pan


Turn on the oven to 180 degrees.
In a bowl pour the yogurt, the oil, the lemon zest and the sugar, mix with a whisk, then add the sifted flour and cornstarch gradually - and a little at a time.
When the dough becomes too dry, gradually add the lemon juice, stir and continue adding the flour, until you have used all of it. Then add the yeast and mix again.

Obtained a homogeneous and smooth cream, pour it into a rectangular pan, oiled and floured, level with the back of a spoon to create an even layer and bake for about 35 minutes (but always do the toothpick test before taking it out of the oven).

When cooked, let it cool completely; then remove the cake from the pan, cut all 4 edges with a bread knife and divide the cake horizontally, making 3 layers.

Then whip the vegetable cream and gently stuff the 3 layers, then reassemble the cake, arrange the layers well, cleaning up any spills of cream and sprinkle the surface with icing sugar.

Now all that remains is to cut the cake into squares (or rectangles) and serve!
